Hardware and software are mutually inclusive. One cannot function without the other and vice versa. And advances in technology has facilitated better, more powerful hardware which has in turn helped run richer, multimedia intensive applications. If you are a computer enthusiast, it is imperative that you know what pieces of hardware go into making of a PC.
